Born on September 6, 1958 in North Woodmere, New York, Wendy Kaufman is known for being the spokesperson for Snapple. She was educated at Lawrence High School and Syracuse University, later working at her father's company. She then worked for the Snapple Beverage Corporation, where she earned the title of The Snapple Lady by answering fanmail. This led her to appear in several radio, TV and print ads for the company, which were met with much success. Despite her lack of acting training, she managed to appear on films like Vegas Vacation and Funny Valentine. She was also on the series known as The Beat.
Later, Kaufman studied once again and took up a probability and statistics course at John Jay College of Criminal Justice. Afterwards, she joined several VH1 shows. She appeared in I Love the 90s and Celebrity Fit Club. She also launched Wendy Wear, a line of activewear for plus-size women.
