Biography

Blonde actress Tina DiJoseph was born on February 18, 1962. She got her first start in the industry by joining the cast of the NBC hit drama series Medium. Tina DiJoseph portrayed the character Lynn DiNovi, the Deputy Mayor in the Phoenix, Arizona district who has a romantic relationship with Detective Lee Scanlon, played by David Cubitt. Since 2005, she has appeared on a wide variety of episodes of Medium. Some of them include “Drowned World,” “A Cure for What Ails You,” the two-part “Burn Baby Burn,” “A Priest, a Doctor and a Medium Walk Into an Execution Chamber” and “Ghost in the Machine.” DiJoseph first appeared as a Texas ranger in the pilot episode of Medium, and appeared as her regular character on the second episode, titled “The Other Side of the Tracks.”

In the fall of 2006, Tina DiJoseph married Glenn Gordon Caron, the executive producer of Medium. Though many have speculated that this is the reason for her casting on the show, she continues to hold her head high in portraying her character on Medium. The series also stars Patricia Arquette as the main character, Allison Dubois, who uses her psychic abilities to communicate with the dead in order to arrest and condemn suspects to crimes in their state. Some of the co-stars of the series are Jake Weber, Miguel Sandoval, Sofia Vassilieva, Maria Lark, Madison and Miranda Carabello, Ryan Hurst, and Arlyss Howard. Medium was created by DiJoseph’s husband, and is produced by Picturemaker Productions and Grammet Productions, together with CBS Paramount Television. Despite having few credits to her name, Tina DiJoseph has also signed on to play the receptionist of Ian Somerhalder’s character in the romantic comedy Wake. Directed by Ellie Kanner, the film also stars Bijou Phillips, Jane Seymour, Danny Masterson, Marguerite Moreau, David Zayas and Sprague Grayden.
