Eleven-year-old Taylor from Sylvester, Georgia is a young girl with many dreams. Aside from becoming Miss America, she also wants to pursue an acting and singing career. Her favorite subject in school is science, and she eventually wants to become a paleontologist. Taylor believes that there should be stricter laws against child abuse and murderers and that overpopulation is one of the reasons why global warming is getting worse.
Taylor is one of 40 kids aged 8 to 15 to participate in CBS' Kid Nation, a reality series set in the abandoned Bonanza City, New Mexico. The barren city will be the venue of the rise of a kids-only society which will test their endurance for independence. The kids are tasked to support themselves by engaging in labor and governance, and every episode will feature a town meeting where they will discuss problems and issues, and award a worthy kid with a gold star equating valued at $20,000.
