Tatum O’Neal Biography:
Tatum Beatrice O’Neal was born on November 5, 1963 in Los Angeles, California. She grew up surrounded by a family of actors, as her father is actor Ryan O’Neal and her mother actress Joanna Moore. She didn’t have to stay too long in her parents’ shadows, as she became the youngest actress to win an Academy Award in 1974. O’Neal was only ten years old when she was hailed Best Supporting Actress for her work in the movie, Paper Moon. From there, O’Neal made appearances in several more movies, such as The Bad News Bears, Nickelodeon, International Velvet and Little Darlings. She took a break from acting while she was married to former tennis player John McEnroe, but returned to television in 2005, with a role on the drama series, Rescue Me
and in 2007, landed the starring role on another drama series, Wicked Wicked Games
Her return to television also marked O’Neal’s first appearance on a reality series. She became a contestant on the second season of the ABC hit show, Dancing with the Stars. She and her dance partner, Nick Kosovich, were the second to be eliminated from the competition.
