Stephenie LaGrossa Biography:
Born on December 6, 1979, Stephenie LaGrossa grew up with a four older brothers is Briarcliff, Glenolden. She is a graduate of Archbishop Prendergast High School, where she was a member of the lacrosse varsity team. She also took time to play field hockey and swimming, and after her graduation, set off to study at Temple University and Monmouth University, where she was a Division One Lacrosse team player and a business administration major, with marketing and management tracks. Balancing her jobs as a pharmaceutical sales representative and bartender has proven to be challenging for LaGrossa, but she has persevered through it. Among her many accomplishments are being team captain of the lacrosse team during her final college year, making the NEC Academic Honor Roll and the Dean's List, receiving the NEC Scholar/ Athlete Award and being nominated for Female Athlete of the Year.
She, like fellow tribe member, Bobby Jon Drinkard
, first tried out for the Survivor reality series during its' 10th season, Survivor: Palau. Originally a member of the Ulon tribe, she was voted off on Day 30 when the other contestants, particularly Gregg, realized that she would be a tough competitor to beat in the coming challenges.
LaGrossa gained more success as a competitor on Survivor: Guatemala. LaGrossa was able to make it all the way to the Top 2 with Danni Boatwright, and had competed for two tribes, Yaxha and Nakum, before the merger (Xhakum). She lost the title of Sole Survivor to Boatwright
because most of the jury members were the people who Stephenie backstabbed in order to get ahead in the game.
