A great sense of humor has always been a good asset, and that’s what Ben is betting on for an opportunity to meet girls. Having a goofy grin and a slapstick laughs didn’t help him with his past relationships, as he’s been rejected by a number of females over the years. Ben is just a small-town guy from Virginia who’s looking for someone he can spend intimate time with. He’s eager to give another chance to romance, and he’s hoping that romance is also willing to let him succeed.
Heading for the big city of Los Angeles, Ben became known as one of the 24 contestants on MTV’s A Double Shot at Love. The show featured the bisexual twins Vikki and Rikki, who pushed the 12 bachelors and 12 lesbians to the limit to gain their affections. He wasn’t able to win them over on the show, and he was eliminated on episode 2 because he was relying on his comedy far too much.
