Shauvon Torres is a writer who comes from the United States, and she appears as a cast member in the 19th season of MTV’s reality television series, The Real World: Sydney. She was 24 years old during the time of the show’s filming, and the oldest member of the group. Hailing from sunny Sacramento, California, she possesses more than just buxom beauty, which has easily gotten her mistaken for being a mere blonde bombshell. She’s actually an intelligent and sharp-minded sex columnist for the newspaper of the Sacramento State University.
She was brought up mainly by her domineering mother, who laid out life plans, goals and ambitions for her and subjected her to immense pressure in directing her life. Most of the time, she was forced to prioritize her mother’s objectives and aspirations, rather than her own. However, she was eventually fed up with being constantly harped on and strictly instructed on how she should live her life. As part of her retaliation, she broke off her engagement to a man who was forcing her to choose between their relationship and her career, trying to boldly prove her self-sufficient independence. Yet even though she knows deep down that she did the right thing for herself, the sense of loss still remains strong.
