Sandy Brugin is one of 16 castaways aiming to outwit, outplay, and outlast the rest in Survivor: Tocantins.

The 53-year-old was born in Louisville, Kentucky and still stays there, working as a bus driver on the graveyard shift. She’s been at it for three decades, being very used to meeting different people. On her down time, she unwinds by crocheting or listening to country and rock and roll.

Funny and fearless, she thinks her fishing and carpentry skills could make her a useful member of her tribe. While being relatable and a bit kooky, she believes she has what it takes to become the next winner of Survivor—and is extremely confident she’ll be able to do just that.
