Meet the Cast of 'Make Me A Supermodel' Season 2 Salome from Altamont, Tennessee is actually a newbie in the world of modeling. She was raised as a Mennonite, which is a modern form of Amish, which meant she grew up without television, radio, computers, or music. Being around such conditions has made Salome value work greatly, as he now puts in 70 hours of work a week in two part-time jobs. She counts traveling, the outdoors, meeting new people, and trying new things as her hobbies.
Salome decided to try her luck by going on the hit Bravo reality series
Make Me A Supermodel. There, she became one of 16 contestants to compete for $100,000 and a contract with New York Model Management. Joining the aspiring models is show host Tyson Beckford, who plays mentor along with Nicole Trunfio. Helping out the group is this season’s panel of esteemed judges, including world-renowned designer Catherine Malandrino, model Jenny Shimizu, celebrated photographer Perou and international model scout Marlon.
For the first episode of
Make Me A Supermodel, Salome had a hard time with the first challenge, which required them to model sleepwear in a suspended Plexiglass box. She got worried when asked to strip down to her underwear, even though she admitted that she’s willing to go in the nude to be a great supermodel. Despite her initial anxiety, her picture earned her high marks and won her the photo challenge. This gave her a little too much confidence, provoking conflict among her fellow models. She didn’t perform well during her catwalk, lacking excitement in her stride.
Salome was also noted for enjoying the second episode’s challenge, where she was tasked to portray a pink pixie stick. While she didn’t earn a high score, she advanced to the next round. For the third episode, she had a complicated time with the sportswear photo shoot. She and Shawn kept colliding with one another as they hung in mid-air. She was one of those with the weakest performances, but she managed to stay in the competition. After landing on the bottom 3 in episode 10, she was sent home on the subsequent episode. Since then, she has signed with Click Models in Atlanta.
