American actress Saige Thompson graduated from Phoenixville High School in 1999. Upon leaving the school, she became an affiliated artist of The People's Light & Theatre Company, where she is an active member. She continued to pursue her passion for acting, enabling her to land parts on various television shows and films.
Saige Thompson made her acting debut on an episode of 10-8: Officers on Duty. She portrayed the character Janey Hogan, appearing on the episode titled “Gypsy Road.” In 2005, she joined the cast of Life on a Stick and became known as Molly Callahan. The short-lived FOX sitcom also starred Zachary Knighton, Charlie Finn, Rachelle Lefevre, Amy Yasbeck and Mathew Glave. When the series was canceled, Thompson took on a role in the 2006 drama Love Is the Drug, starring John Patrick Amedori and Lizzy Caplan. Thompson followed this up with guest roles in ER, Ghost Whisperer and Cold Case. She later played the character Tiffany Hughes in a CSI: Crime Scene Investigation episode, titled “Happenstance,” which first aired in 2006. This was followed by a role in Without a Trace, before she was cast in Veronica Mars as Abigail Montgomery. Thompson appeared in the episode “Weevils Wobble But They Don’t Go Down,” working alongside Kirsten Bell, Jason Dohring, Percy Daggs III, Ryan Hansen and Chris Lowell. In 2008, Saige Thompson starred in the TV production Racing for Time, a biographical drama directed by Charles S. Dutton. That year, she landed the role of Cheryl in the ABC Family miniseries Samurai Girl, based on the popular young-adult novels written by Carrie Asai. Her co-stars include Jamie Chung, Brendan Fehr, Stacy Keibler, Jack Yang, and Anthony Wong. Thompson later signed on to play Hallie in the romantic drama Reservations, written and directed by Aloura Melissa Charles and starring Ray Wise, Robert Weigert, Vanessa Johansson and Loren Dean.
