Rami Kashou came all the way from Jerusalem to the U.S. to make a name for himself in the world of fashion. He studied at Brooks College in California before travelling to Europe, where he discovered pattern-making. Later, he worked in his own collection, which was then picked up by notable boutiques in Los Angeles.
In 2007, Rami Kashou became one of 15 hopefuls in the fourth season of Bravo’s Project Runway. He started out the season as a frontrunner, winning the first challenge, Sew Us What You Got. He went on to win only one other challenge, Eye Candy. He was in the top group twice and the bottom group four times. He faced off against fellow designer Chris March for a spot in the final runway show and won. He placed second overall in season 4, losing to Christian Siriano. Since the show ended, he has continued working in the fashion industry and has launched several collections as well as bridal gowns.
In 2011, it was announced that Rami would be one of the contestants of Project Runway All Stars.
