Born on September 7, 1988 in Secaucus, New Jersey, Paul Iacono is the lead star of the show The Hard Times of RJ Berger, where he plays a nerdy, socially awkward 15-year-old sophomore in high school named RJ Berger.
After discoving a talent for impersonating Frank Sinatra and Ethel Merman as a child, he took his act to many regional theaters across his home state of New Jersey and eventually earned the Life of the Theater Award by the Paper Mill Playhouse in 2000.
On TV, Iacono made a name for himself by appearing on The Rosie O'Donnell Show numerous times over the course of six years from 1997 to 2002. On the big screen, he was cast in the slasher film Return to Sleepaway Camp and Glow Ropes: The Rise and Fall of a Bar Mitzvah Emcee.
Aside from being an actor, Iacono is also a playwright who is credited for Prince/Elizabeth. which had its premiere reading in New York City on January 9, 2008.
