Sales Associate Norelle Van Herk is from Costa Mesa, California. She towers over average American women her age, standing at 5 feet and 10 1/2 inches. Her favorite movie is The Wedding Singer with Adam Sandler and Drew Barrymore. She likes to eat spaghetti and reads Seventeen magazine for pleasure. Her career in modeling began when she appeared as one of the 14 finalists in America’s Next Top Model, Cycle 3.
As a Finalist on the highly watched reality series, Norelle was the only one among the 14 girls who came in the competition with braces on her teeth. The braces were removed as a part of her makeover for the show. Although her overall performance was impressive, her blunders in the Tokyo photo shoot and her difficulty walking on the runway were what compelled the judges to make Norelle the ninth contestant to be eliminated. Her photo shoot for T-Mobile was good but was not enough to keep her on the show for another week.
Norelle was able to attain considerable success as a model after her appearance on America’s Next Top Model, Cycle 3. She received contracts from NOUS models and Dream Models in Asia, and working with these agencies were beneficial as she was able to book numerous advertisements. However, Norelle eventually decided to leave the fashion industry temporarily in order to pursue her education. She was also awarded the Fiercee Award for Worst Walk and Wipeout in 2008.
