Michelle Dockery is a stage actress who made her professional debut in His Dark Materials at the Royal National Theatre in 2004. Since then, she has been part of numerous productions such as Pillars of the Community, Burnt by the Sun, and Pygmalion.
On screen, Dockery also established herself beginning with the TV series Fingersmith in 2005. She became part of mini-series and tele-pics like Red Riding: In the Year of Our Lord 1974, The Courageous Heart of Irena Sendler and Return Cranford. On 2010, she joined the cast of the British series Downton Abbey as Lady Mary Crawley.
