*NEW* Interview with Max

Maksim Kapitannikov is part of the top 20 dancers in the fifth season of So You Think You Can Dance. He specializes in Latin ballroom.

The 26-year-old was born in Moscow, Russia, and currently resides in New York City. He came from a dancing family—his mother was a ballet teacher—and has danced for as long as he can remember.

Currently a student at the Manhattan Comprehensive High School, he also enjoys sculpting and playing the guitar.

Max is the second male eliminated from the competition.
