Linda Flynn is the mother of Phineas and Candace, and the stepmother of Ferb. Linda is married to Lawrence Fletcher but her cooking teacher still refers to her as Miss Flynn. Her birthday is June 11 and her wedding anniversary with Lawrence is June 15.
Aside from being a regular American stay-at-home mom, Linda is also a member of a free-form jazz band and plays with Isabella and Jeremy’s mothers. In the 1980’s Linda was known as “Lindana,” a famous pop star. Her talents include playing the keyboard, the triangle and the guitar.
Linda is usually either very busy or trying to relax. Her relaxing periods are often disrupted by Candace’s attempts to prove to Linda that the stepbrothers are up to something crazy. But Linda sees no proof of what her daughter is talking about and she thinks Candace might be crazy. Worse, she’s starting to believe that Candace may actually need some professional help. She thinks that Candace’s claims are outlandish.
Linda is described as someone with a wealth of patience but with a dry sense of humor. She is a dedicated and insightful mom. She sets limits for her children but at the same time, also allows them to freely express themselves.
Linda Flynn is a character on Disney Channel’s animated series Phineas and Ferb. She is voiced by Caroline Rhea, the same person who has worked on Two Dreadful Children, Filmore!, Dr. Katz, Professional Therapist and Sabrina: the Teenage Witch: Spellbound.
