Actres Laura Donnelly was born in 1982 in Belfast, Northern Island and became known for her role in the Channel 4 drama Sugar Rush. She was educated at Rathmore Grammar School and later attended the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama. She then worked in theater, appearing in productions around Ireland and Scotland. Soon, she moved to London and was cast in several roles. She played Fleur Butler in Casualty and Maya Robertson in Hex. In 2006, she was cast in an episode of The Bill, as well as in Rough Diamond. Her first film role became 2009's Dread, and she then appeared in Right Hand Drive and as Freya in the series Merlin. Soon, she landed the part of Violet Heath in the 2012 ABC series Missing, starring Ashley Judd and Sean Bean.
