Of Norwegian descent, actress Kristina Apgar was born on June 10, 1985. Her parents are Mark and Ruth Apgar, and she has a sister named Samantha. She was raised in Madison, New Jersey and was educated at Madison High School. Aspiring to be a ballerina, Apgar decided to enroll in a ballet class at the New Jersey Ballet Company.
Kristina Apgar began her career in the entertainment industry appearing on several television shows. She was given a role in the long-running daytime soap opera As the World Turns. She was cast as Megan on an episode in 2004, playing opposite regular cast members like Larry Brygman, Chris Beetem, and Brett Groneman. Apgar was next seen on a couple of episodes of the American drama series Rescue Me that same year. She made an appearance as Nicole on the episodes “Alarm” and “Inches.” She played alongside Denis Leary, Mike Lombardi, and James McCaffrey on both episodes. Apgar was next seen as Regan on Law & Order: Criminal Intent. Her next role was in a short comedy film by Charles Alan Jones. She was given the role of Danielle in Barry’s Last Chance, as the love interest of Barry, played by Aaron Kadkhodai. Kristina Apgar then landed the role of Cheri Westin on the Fox Network series Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles. It was launched in 2008 and Apgar plays John Connor’s mysterious lab partner. She reprised this role in the second season of the series. She continued her work on television, playing Lily in the television drama Privileged, on The CW Television Network. Lily is the estranged sister of the show’s protagonist, Megan Smith, played by Joanna Garcia of Reba fame. Lily is dating the romantic interest of Megan, the wealthy dilettante Will, portrayed by Brian Hallisay.
