Born on April 18, 1976 in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Kevin Rankin is an actor best known his role as Herc on the NBC drama Friday Night Lights. His other screen credits include a host of popular television series, including Grey’s Anatomy, NYPD Blue, Spin City, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Without a Trace, The O.C., Bones, Six Feet Under, CSI, NCIS, My Name is Earl, Lost, and In Plain Sight.
In 2009, Rankin was cast on the NBC drama Trauma, a series about a group of paramedics in San Francisco, California. He played Tyler Briggs for 20 episodes and then moved on to appear as Verlan Walker on the HBO series Big Love. At present, he stars as Roe Saunders on the series Unforgettable.
