2nd Team Eliminated - 11/11/2007Exclusive Interview: Kate and Pat
Kate Lewis and Pat Hendrickson appear together as one of the contestant pairs in the 12th season of the Emmy Award-winning CBS competitive reality television series The Amazing Race. They are both married ministers who hail from Thousand Oaks, CA. Kate is 49 years old and has devoted her life to service as an Episcopal priest, while her partner Pat is 65 years old and serves as an ordained deacon. The two of them went on dates together for more than half a decade, and eventually married each other three years ago. Their roles as Episcopal clergy have given them the opportunity for travel and exploration, though Kate also has one grown son that she used to look after.
Kate has also stated that the main difference between her and her partner is that she is averse to confrontation, whereas Pat actively seeks it out. Kate has also called herself sardonic and passionate, while Pat is reliable and persistent. As a vocational deacon in the Episcopal Church, Pat is devoted to people with disabilities in her religious community. She is the mother of two sons, and the grandmother of three. Pat has claimed that her partner’s main weakness is her bad sense of time. Click Here to Watch BuddyTV's Exclusive Pre-Race Interview with Kate and Pat
