Actor Joshua Morrow
was born on February 8, 1974 in Juneau, Alaska. He took up a major in communications and a minor in theater at Moorpark College located in California.
He is most famous for playing the role of Nicholas Newman on the daytime soap opera The Young and The Restless.
Joshua Morrow first appeared on the show in 1994. His work won him the 1996 Outstanding Younger Leading Actor award and the 2001 Outstanding Hero award at the Soap Opera Digest Awards. He was also nominated five times for the Outstanding Supporting Actor award at the Daytime Emmys and once for the Best Performance by a Youth Actor in a Daytime Series award at the Young Artist Awards.
In made-for-TV movies, he portrayed the roles of Josh on 3deep and Eric Cory on Love, Murder and Deceit.
In 2004, he played on the World Poker Tour for the benefit of the V Foundation for Cancer Research.
Joshua was also seen on two episodes of ABC's Dancing with the Stars
season 3 in 2006.
Joshua Morrow tied the knot with longtime girlfriend Tobe Keeney on August 4, 2001 and has two sons named Cooper Jacob and Crew James. The couple is expecting their third son in April 2008.
He is a self-confessed Star Wars addict and is fond of the character Hans Solo, who was played by Harrison Ford.
Away from the cameras, he spends his free time playing basketball and softball. He names Milwaukee Brewers as his favorite baseball team and looks up to J.J. Hardy for his athletic skills. Joshua also enjoys collecting baseball cards and reading books.
