Actor Jon Foster was born on August 3, 1984 in Fairfield, Iowa. The son of a restaurateur and the brother of actor Ben Foster, he began acting in local theater, and also took screen roles as early as 1999, as well as modeling. He made his film debut in 2000’s Thirteen Days; the following year, he took his first regular television role, in Danny. His profile was raised, however, in 2004, when he appeared in the teen serial Life As We Know It; he was Ben Connor, a student who was having an affair with a teacher. The series only lasted one season.
In 2006, Foster starred in another television series, the midseason drama Windfall; it, however, was cancelled after a season. After keeping active in films, such as Stay Alive and Tenderness, he is set to star in the upcoming comedy Accidentally on Purpose.
