Film and television actor Jesse Plemons was born on April 2, 1988 in Dallas, Texas. In spite of the modi!$#!# of success he has achieved as an actor for several feature film and television productions, he has been described as being down-to-earth and still firmly rooted with his family in their home of Mart, Texas. Aside from acting, he also enjoys a number of sporting activities, as well as being able to savor his cowboy roots through trick roping and horseback riding. He graduated from the Texas Tech Independent School District in 2007 as well.
Jesse Plemons has acted in a number of movies, such as All the Pretty Horses, Children on Their Birthdays, and When Zachary Beaver Came to Town. His earlier career was marked with appearances in Walker, Texas Ranger and the series Sabrina, the Teenage Witch. He landed a role on The Guardian in 2001, before he was cast as Ox in Like Mike starring Bow Wow and Jonathan Lipnicki. In 2003, he was given a small role in an episode of Judging Amy and was also on The Lyon’s Den. He was next seen on the romantic comedy The Failures, before appearing on CSI: Crime Scene Investigation. In 2004, Plemons was seen on Huff and soon got the part of Landry Clarke on the NBC award-winning drama series Friday Night Lights. His character is the best friend of the Panthers’ quarterback, played by Zach Gilford. Plemons’ role isn’t that of a football player, but is often a source of support and advice. While on the series, Plemons also accepted the role of Jake Burton on another drama, Grey’s Anatomy. He appeared on the episode “Yesterday,” enabling him to work with series regulars Ellen Pompeo, Patrick Dempsey and Katherine Heigl. In 2008, Jesse Plemons landed a supporting role in the adventure film The Flyboys, starring Tom Sizemore, Jesse James, and Stephen Baldwin. Some of Plemons’ other television work include roles in Navy NCIS: Naval Criminal Investigative Service and in an episode of Fear Itself.
