Biography

Born in 1976 in La Puente, California, Jeff Garcia is a known stand-up comedian and voice actor. To most audiences, he is perhaps known as Sheen Estevez, the UltraLord-loving hyperactive 12-year-old in the 2001 film Jimmy Neutron: Boy Genius, and its spin-off animated series. He also provided the voices for the surfer penguin Rinaldo in Happy Feet, released in 2006, and the mouse Pip in the animated program Back to the Barnyard.

Garcia’s career, however, began in 1991 when he entered an amateur comedy competition in Los Angeles, when he was just 15. He eventually won second place, thanks to his street smart brand of comedy. The next year, he performed in HBO’s Loco Slam, and has since appeared in other television programs, such as Friday Night Videos, Vibe with Sinbad and Funny is Funny.

Garcia currently tours the country with his distinctive hard-edge comedy, appearing in venues such as the Sands Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, as well as in clubs and campuses across the country. He has also joined the Latino Laugh Festival in San Antonio, Texas. He was also asked to do a Comedy Central Presents special, and he also appears in Comedy Central’s reality show Reality Bites Back.
