Born on November 30, 1962, Irrfan Khan is a successful Bollywood actor who continues to make a name for himself on both the small and big screen. Some of his most famous projects include The Warrior, A Mighty Heat, Slumdog Millionaire, New York, New York, I Love You and Haasil, just to name a few.
Khan attended the National School of Drama in New Delhi where he earned his M.A. degree. After graduation, he landed various TV gigs such as Chanakya, Sara Jahan Hamara, Banegi Apni Baat, Chandrakanta (Doordarshan), and Star Bestsellers. In 2005, he was cast in his breakthrough Bollywood role in the film Rog, which paved the way for numerous offers to play lead or supporting roles as a villain. A recipient of two Filmfare Awards and a Screen Actors Guild Award, Khan remains visible on TV as Sunil on HBO’s In Treatment.
