Biography

Frank Parker was born in Darby, Pennsylvania on July 1, 1939. He was educated at Carnegie-Mellon University, in Pittsburgh where he earned his bachelor's degree in acting, after which he pursued a diverse career in film and television. He is a singer and performer who has made regular appearances in Arthur Godfrey and His Friends and Masquerade Party. He also appeared in Gomer Pyle, S.W.A.T., Baa Baa Black Sheep, Wonder Woman, Hardy Boys/Nancy Drew Mysteries, Battlestar Galactica and CHiPS. His TV movies included Just a Little Inconvenience and The Other Victim and later in the 1980's he continued to appear on television in Buck Rogers: The 25th Century, The Fall Guy and Crazy Like a Fox. His feature films include Midway, and The Concorde: Airport '79. Parker also appeared on daytime television programs such as General Hospital , All My Children , Never Too Young, One Life to Live , The Young and the Restless and in 1983, Days of Our Lives.

Shawn Brady is portrayed in Days of Our Lives by Frank Parker. Shawn Brady is the husband of Caroline Brady and the father of her three of four children, Roman, Kimberly and Kayla. He was shocked when he found out that Caroline's youngest child Bo was the son of Victor Kiriakis, a product of an affair she had with him. Shawn is the grandson of Patrick Aloysius and Nora Molly Brady, and has two siblings, brother Eric and sister Molly.
