Actor Enver Gjokaj has been developing his acting career ever since he got bitten by the acting bug. His interests in the field pushed him to make a name for himself in theater, film and television, right after receiving his master’s degree at Tisch School for the Arts. He steadily worked on stage, earning critical praise for his efforts.
Enver Gjokaj made his breakthrough in the entertainment business in 2006. He landed the role of Mirash on the TV movie Filthy Gorgeous, a comedy-drama written by Ron Nyswaner. This enabled him to work alongside Isabella Rossellini, Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, Eva Simon, Kate Jennings Grant, Maya Strange, Sam Page and Bar Paly. Also that year, Gjokaj played David on the series called The Book of Daniel. He was seen on the episode titled “Temptation,” acting with Aidan Quinn, Susanna Thompson, Christian Campbell, Ivan Shaw, Garret Dillahunt and Alison Pill. Gjokaj was also in The Path to 9/11 that year.
In 2007, the actor landed a part in The Unit, playing the character Lloyd in the episode “Binary Explosion.” The following year, Gjokaj booked a role in Law & Order: Criminal Intent. He portrayed the character Peter Gardela on the episode titled “Ten Count.” He later forayed into another film, playing Dave Sarette on The Express. The biographical sport drama cast him alongside Dennis Quaid, Rob Brown, Darrin Dewitt Henson, Omar Brenson Miller and Nelsan Ellis. He also played a role in the film Eagle Eye, though it was a small part. All his work led him to join the cast of the Joss Whedon series Dollhouse. The thrilling Fox program stars Eliza Dushku as Echo, Tahmoh Penikett, Dichen Lachman, and Olivia Williams. His character is that of Victor on the show. Due to his talents, Gjokaj was chosen to play the role of Corporal Arenz on the TV movie Taking Chance.
