Actor Daniel Henney was born on November 28, 1979 in Carson City, Michigan. Born to a British father and a Korean-American mother, he never learned to speak Korean. However, he got his start in the television scene there. He first starred in the hit Korean drama My Name is Kim Sam Soon. This was after he worked as a commercial model; his success in that show led to roles in other Korean shows.

He made his American debut in the 2009 movie X-Men Origins: Wolverine, where he starred as Agent Zero. He is set to make his American television debut in the series Three Rivers.
