Guitar-strumming Christina Brown comes from Nanakuli, Hawaii. She studied at the Christian Education Institute, and is no newbie to performances. Christina has been singing in lounges and other small venues, and has received great support from her family. She has taken her talents to the stage, but has also taken the time to consider other interests. She is also an athlete, venturing into soccer and surfing. This rising star also takes pride in her skills in cooking, as well as in fashion design.
Singing her rendition of “Colors of the Wind” from the Disney movie Pocahontas, Christina Brown was eventually chosen as one of the 12 finalists for the ABC reality series High School Musical: Get in the Picture. Hosted by actor and musician Nick Lachey, the series follows the efforts of the teenage contestants to win the ultimate prize for a High School Musical fan. The winner will get to star in his or her own music video featured in the end credits of High School Musical 3: Senior Year, and receive a chance to have a recording contract for two singles with Walt Disney Records.
