Bree Williamson, who was born on December 28, 1981 in Toronto, Canada, was educated at the University of Toronto. Developing an interest in acting, she pursued the career and later tried out for a variety of shows. She initially auditioned for a role on One Life to Live during the 1990s, but was rejected on her first try. This was due to Williamson’s uncanny resemblance to the actress Erin Torpey, who previsouly portrayed the character Jessica Buchanan. When Toerpey left the show, the production crew didn’t think twice about hiring Williamson to take her place.
Since 2003, Bree Williamson took on the role of Jessica Eugenia Buchanan, the daughter of Victoria Lord and Clint Buchanan. Despite gaining popularity on the series, she ventured into other projects throughout her career. She was first seen on Twice in a Lifetime, as the character Carol Anne in the episode titled “School’s Out.” Her next role was in Doc, then played a victim in Earth: Final Conflict. She got a small part in the Odyssey 5 episode, “Kitten” in 2002 as well. She later took on a part in Mutant X, getting the role of Miranda Davis on the episode “Crossroads of the Soul.” Williamson later booked a role in the romantic film Adam & Eve, released in 2003 in Canada. It was directed by Izidore K. Musallam and starred Nadia Mansouri and Michael Kremko. Williamson has also been seen on a television commercial for the Pepsi company, as well as for an ad for Tostitos. In 2007, she got a role in the play Barefoot in the Park. In 2005, she appeared on Live with Regis and Kathie Lee, and was seen on The 33rd Annual Daytime Emmy Awards the next year. Williamson has also made an appearance on three episodes of SoapTalk, and was also seen in The Fashionista Diaries.
