Brandon Rogers Biography:

After singing back-up for most of his young singing career, 30-year old Brandon Rogers is finally getting a chance to be on the center stage. He is from North Hollywood, California but lived in Dallas, Texas for six years. He auditioned for season 6 of American Idol in Los Angeles and made quite an impression on the judges. His talent secured him a spot on the Top 24. Brandon has been singing for as long as he can remember and even took lessons while studying in college. He enjoys listening to country music and his favorite artists include Stevie Wonder and Beyonce. Brandon believes in the value of hard work and taking risks. Randy is his favorite judge on the show. His parents are his heroes.

Brandon Rogers' impressive vocals led him to a highly coveted spot in the Top 12 of American Idol season 6.  However, he forgot the words to several bars of "You Can't Hurry Love," by The Supremes, which ultimately got him eliminated off the show at a time that many fans considered to be too early for him to go.

After American Idol, Brandon Rogers remained in the limelight with his work on TV Guide where he is currently interviewing future Idol contestants around the country with Kimberly Caldwell, and Rosana Tavares on the Road to Hollywood: Idol Auditions.

Aside from coming up with songs for his album and continuing his musical pursuits, Brandon Rogers is gradually penetrating the acting circuit, starting off with his guest appearance in the television series Bones , specifically on the episode “The Wannabe in the Weeds.”
