Anya Kop, a retail sales associate from Honolulu, Hawaii, was a contestant on
America's Next Top Model cycle 10.
Originally a brunette, Anya had her hair dyed platinum blonde during the Top Model makeover episode. To date, she had three first call-outs. First was with the homeless photoshoot in episode 2, second was meat packing photoshoot in episode 4, and third was the jetsetters photoshoot in episode 9.
On the sixth episode, Anya won the pained posing challenge and got the chance to pose nude for photographer
Nigel Barker . She won again on the ninth episode and had another photo shoot, this time for a 7-Up campaign. In addition, Anya received $10,000 check as payment for her work.
In the episode entitled “Viva Italia!,” wherein the contestants were asked to walk and model wearing Italian clothing, Anya won again and was awarded with a red carpet dress from the designer.
While in Rome, the models also filmed a commercial wherein they have to speak Italian. Like
Dominique , Anya didn't get a single word right and their commercials were laughed at during the panel. In the end, Anya was still praised for looking flirty and good despite fumbling with the words.
When
Fatima catches a fever, Anya brought her chicken while the others gossip about her. Anya also consoled Fatima when the latter cried because of her fear of getting kicked out of the competition. Anya advised Fatima to stay on top of her game.
Aside from her kindness, Anya is also praised for her humility. As photographer Nigel Barker put it, Anya is a “good model but doesn't even know how good she is.”
When the other girls got mad at Dominique because of her alarm clock, Anya advised her to take responsibility and learn to communicate better with the others in the house. She continued her career in modeling, later signing with Wilhelmina Models in New York and Style International Management in Hong Kong. She has appeared in numerous print ads and runway shows, in addition to being one of the models in the Project Runway All Star Challenge.
