Amy O' Hara Biography:
Amy O' Hara, a Sergeant Detective in the Major Crimes Unit of the Revere Police Department, was born on November 2, 1965 in Revere, Massachusetts. She is a graduate of Curry College and is the first female sergeant in the history of the Revere Police Department. O'Hara, a former professional football player, remains physically active by participating in competitive sports such as golf, softball and basketball. Moreover, she regularly lifts weights and in her spare time, enjoys reading magazines, listening to music and dancing.
O'Hara joined Survivor: Guatemala because she hoped to gain the experience of a lifetime. She believed her greatest asset to her tribe, Yaxha, was her ability to motivate people to overcome their limitations and her ability to lead as well as be a part of the team. O' Hara was voted off during the 8th tribal council for being part of the minority alliance, and her departure gave way to the merging of the two tribes.
