I have never read the book series so I dont know how it all ends, but Damon is so much more in love with Elena, he has provin his love is so much stonger time and time again. I think that he should get the girl in the end. If he does though what happens with Stefan, who does he get?

Why do you think Damon loves Elena more than Stefan does?

cause he would do anything to keep her alive and doesnt give up with out a fight. Stefan just handed her off to Klaus. Damon did what he could in order to keep her alive. freed Tyler and Caroline and made her drink vampire blood cause he knew that would bring her back instead of trusting an original.

Elena does not want to be a vampire. She wants to grow old and have kids. She told Stefan how she felt, and he accepted it. Damon, yes he loves her, so he decided to take matter in his own hands, and fed her his blood. She didnt want that. And Stefan didnt want to just give Elena over, she didnt want him to risk his life for her. Stefan did have a plan though, too bad Elijah didnt follow through with it. Elena loves Stefan, but is starting to feel something towards Damon. But you can't say that he loves her more than Stefan does.

Elena needs a more mature person like maybe have Elijah since both Damon and Stefan act like young puppy love teens. Elena needs a more mature man so bring back Elijah.
