Which is the best character for a spin-off for The Office?

Report
I started this conversation for another show so I thought I would start it here, too. Of all the kooky characters on this show - which would make the best spin-off show. Personally I would pick Dwight. I believe he's the most multi-faceted pick of the litter. There's alot goin on there. What would you say?

Dwight. Or Meredith. Or maybe Kelly and Ryan.

Either Jim and Pam, they have popularity and they are also the "normal" people stuck in a world of crazy people. The quick wit and narrative from them lends itself for a spin-off. Would it be following the Cleveland show too closely to see a Stanley spin-off? The Nard-dog could also spin-off and go back to Cornell country and be a swinging bachelor trying to start over (post dunder mifflin life).

I vote for the Nard dog and Dwight. Love both of them. Kelly and Ryan are funny, but if I had to watch a whole show about just them I'd probably kill myself. ;)

In my opinion, they need to find someone from the outside. Everyone already has their designated characters that all bring a little something that makes the show what it is. I think that taking one of the existing characters to replace Steve Carell would be a big failure. For example, when Jim was temporarily Micheal's co-boss in season 6, he lost most of his character. Although there were some funny moments between Jim and Dwight during that period, there were less pranks which is part of why the show was so funny. This is just a suggestion. But I think that Danny Devito would be a more than adequate replacement. If anyone has ever seen the show It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia, you might see where I'm coming from.

Jim is a woose, and along with Pam, those two have a cruel sense of unfunny humor when it comes to pulling pranks. Danny Devito might make a great replacement for Micheal, but may be to overwhelming a character in the part.
