Glorifying Communism in Vietnam???

Report
This show was offensive in part...they showed, for example, a stage show glorifying victory over their enemies...who were they, do you suppose? Then, there was a monument to a downed B-52, in which it was likely a US pilot was killed. Was such backdrops demanded by the Vietnamese Government or was it purely the show's decision. Either way, it was in poor taste. The shows participants had no clue what they were seeing. There is plenty of beauty in Vienam without having to show that stuff.

May be you should have a Jane Fonda announce this weeks show so she could tell everyone how great it was that the B52 was downed and lead everyone in song of socialism golrifing the vietcong, I taped this week so I can rewatch to see the sponsors of this travesty are.

Wow...this was in extremely poor taste, but not surprising at all for CBS. I have also taken note of the sponsors, Target, Campbells, to name a few... I will be contacting them all... and I can assure them, I won't be doing business with them in the future....Amazing Race...I won't be watching again.

I must admit to being dismayed when I realized what I was seeing ... an on-stage production of the Communist Party singing about the greatness of Communism and the B52 wreckage which is actually a part of of the Hanoi Victory Museum ... Victory against the United States. The Museum tauts the shooting down of 23 B52s and other fighter jets; I wonder how many US crewmembers were killed as a result. Poor taste CBS ... there are many US Servicemen who fought in that unforgiving war, including 2 members of my family. The dead obviously can't view the Amazing Race insult; but the living can. There was no on-air reverence or homage expressed by the contestants ... not even by the oldest person in that race.
