On the final dance of the season they could have gotten ANYBODY, but they get KATIE HOLMES? Was she B-O-R-I-N-G or what? Heck, she didn't even comb her hair for the occasion! And what dance background does she have, anyway? I only seen her do ONE dance routine in some movie, but I don't think she's what I call a PRO! Geez, louise! The last dance of the season should be special, but it didn't seem to be to me! Anyway, tonight's the night! Who's going to take it? I'm still rooting for Melanie, even though her Disco disappointed me, but she's still fabulous! ALL of them are, so I won't be disappointed with whoever wins. I'm just leaning a LITTLE bit more towards Melanie!:)

Exactly! I saw Katie Holmes perform at So You Think You Can Dance last season, at the performance wasn't good at all. She wouldn't have even made it to Vegas, had she been a regular contestant. And her comments last night are all the same "beautiful", "awesome", "amazing", "you take my breath away", as though she had them memorized and prepared well in advance. And you are absolutely right, there is no sense of occasion for this finale. They could have had Katie Holmes (if Nigel really wants to make "Katie HOlmes the dancer" happen) any other week, but definitely not for the finale! And the routines, they were mediocre at best. Why didn't I see a Mandy Moore, a Travis, or a Tyce routine? This finale was really a disappointment. It is almost as if it was saboutaged! BIG disappointment.

When there are so many great dancers, and so many great choreographers, why would they pick a judge with little or no experience like Katie Holmes. It's hard to remember that this is America's FAVORITE dancer, not America's BEST dencer. I love this show, and I'd hate to see it go down the tubes because of some misunderstanding.
