Jennifer Carpenter should have won awards for her performance last season in Dexter Season 4. When she goes back to the parking lot after getting shot, I was shaken after seeing her. And when she tells Dexter what she discovered about his past in the final episode, I admit that I hope that she was method acting using her feelings toward her real life husband to say those lines.
