Ok. so i just want to start off by saying that episode blew me away. so many answers yet so many questions. So lets start with the answers. We know that widmore is messing around with the electromagnetism of the island. we know that Desmond, Charlie, and Daniel Widmore from the altverse saw flashes of their "island" life. We know that the hydrogen bomb did work because of what daniel said to desmond when they were on the bench in the altverse. Now, as far widmore's plan. FRom what i understand, there is going to be some other "event" or "incident" involving the EM of the island and that is the reason he wants desmond becuase he knows he can survive. So what is it that widmore wants to do? and does he know that for those "2seconds" that desmond was unconcious in the room on the island were actually days in the "altverse". I dont think widmore knows about the altverse.. or does he? maybe his plan is to create some type of event that will
