she has great chemistry with tony shalhoub, i thought. her role was vital to the personality of the show and the show really lost something when monk got an assistant who complains about everything he does. i don't wanna hear someone complain about what he does. i watch the show because i want to see what he will do next. sharona was a natural nurturer, perfect for someone with 312 phobias. i can't believe they took such a great show and made such a huge "creative" mistake taking bitty off. she obviously knew her role and knew it well. it was her gift and, i guess, a curse. they should have trusted her. what a shame.
