After weeks of waiting and wondering, fans of the troubled little Jamie Lynn Spears of the Nickelodeon show Zoey 101 have found out the gender of the baby she's carrying.  Fresh off the press comes the news that 17-year-old is carrying a baby girl, who's due to pop out come the end of June.

Witnesses have overheard some conversations between the Spears and have shared the news with Life & Style magazine, who reports not just the gender of the newest baby Spears, but also Jamie Lynn's due date!

It seems that preparations for Jamie Lynn’s baby are in full swing. Aside from numerous shopping sprees for baby products, Jamie Lynn has also done her baby registry early last month.

Moreover, a close source to the Spears family says that Jamie Lynn "has been buying tons of clothes and is going to do the nursery in white, black and yellow."

As for the gender of the Spears' family's newest baby, a source told Life & Style magazine, "I heard Lynne talking about Jamie Lynn's baby.  She said Jamie Lynn and the baby's dad were so excited when they found out it's a girl."

Of course, it's not just excitement that could be felt by a very young parent, especially in the case of 18-year-old daddy Casey Aldridge, who fathered Jamie Lynn's baby.  Grandmother Lynne Spears says that Casey is "a bit nervous about having a daughter."

As the supposed June 29th due date comes closer, Jamie Lynn is already thinking of a name for her baby, and a witness says that "Lynne said Jamie Lynn made a list of all the girl family names on both sides of the family and is trying to incorporate one of them as the middle name."

Moreover, granny Lynne is also "flattered to hear her name is being considered," even if her name is quite overused in the family.  However, Jamie Lynn might forget about naming her kid Lynne after granny showed Jamie Lynn a video of a natural birth.

A terrified Jamie Lynn reportedly got sick after watching the video.  Apparently, it was too graphic for the 17-year-old that she is seriously considering having a Caesarean section, as to avoid the pains of giving birth and have her fast asleep while the doctors cut her up and take the baby.

"It was too graphic for her.  She flipped out and literally got sick," a source said.  "She is wondering if a C-section is possible.  She wants to be knocked out and then wake up when it's all over."

However, there was no intimidation intended.  In fact, the source says, "Lynne was trying to be helpful.  She wanted to show Jamie Lynn what a woman goes through giving birth, that it's a natural and beautiful thing, but all Jamie Lynn saw was the blood - or 'goop' as she called it - the screaming and the pain."

Whether or not Jamie Lynn deals with the pain and blood or decides to have a C-section is yet to be seen, as she gives birth to her baby girl late next month.
