Matthew Underwood may appear as just another teen actor but his ability to win the crowd implies that he is an exceptional teen icon. Despite being a novice in the field of acting, he has established himself as a regular figure on television. Handsome and amiable, he remains to be one of the teen heartthrobs of Hollywood. At present, he stars on the show Zoey 101.

Born on April 23, 1990 in Fort Pierce, Florida, Matthew Underwood started his career in the limelight at a very young age, getting exposed in many pageants and television commercials. Eventually, he discovered his interest and expertise in various sports. He played tennis with the American Tennis Youth League, joined organized bowling leagues, and also got exposed to rollerblading, ice hockey, surfing, rock climbing, and skateboarding among others. Encouraged by his cousin Carrie Underwood, American Idol season four winner, he auditioned for the show Zoey 101 and fortunately landed a spot as one of the central characters.

Playing Logan Reese on the television show Zoey 101 allows Underwood to establish his stance on the television loop. Though he doesn’t have much experience in acting, he convincingly portrays an arrogant figure. Refined yet athletic, he is strongly opposed at letting girls take up space on the campus. He keeps up an athletic image to cover his innate intelligence and achievements in the field of academics. His inclusion on the series definitely makes the show interesting to watch.
