Born on July 9, 1973 in Miami, Florida, Enrique Murciano attended Tulane University and Boston Law School. As an actor, he got his first gig in the film Speed 2: Cruise Control as the character Alejandro. His career progressed sluggishly but his patience eventually paid off with his inclusion in the movie Traffic. He also became part of the television series Spyder Games. His other credits included Black Hawk Down, Miss Congeniality 2, and How to Go Out on a Date in Queens.

Murciano’s inclusion on Without a Trace gives him the opportunity to showcase his acting capabilities on television. He depicts an FBI agent and member of the FBI missing persons case squad. Fierce and strong-willed, he can crack even the most hardened criminals, obtaining their cooperation and trust. But underneath his tough guy persona is a sensitive man with a lot of emotional baggage. He is a strong team player who exudes empathy and dedication for his craft. He is one of the reasons why the program remains to be a hit series.
