You think spending three years in prison to cover up a murder your son committed might give a person a chance to reflect and change their ways, but that's not the Nancy Botwin way. In Weeds season 7, the show jumps forward three years to Nancy's release from prison, but as much as time has passed, some things remain the same.

In this extended look at season 7, we see that Nancy wastes no time returning to her old ways and that her family wastes no time coming back to her.

Andy, Shane, Silas and Doug are in Amsterdam, but as soon as they hear that Nancy is out of jail, the misfits instantly consider going back and reconnecting with the woman who has led them into disaster time and time again.

Weeds has been a highly unconventional show for a long time, ever since Agrestic burned to the ground at the end of season 3. Since that time the setting and primary story of the show has shifted so many times that it's hard to keep track of where they've been and what they've done. It might be frustrating at times (season 6 went from leaving California to living in Seattle to a road trip back to Nancy's hometown in Michigan), but it's never dull.

What else do you need to know about Weeds season 7? Silas has become a male model, Shane has an older girlfriend who he does puppet shows with while sporting hideous sideburns and a mohawk, and Andy is a tour guide and still as messed up as ever. The more things change, the more they stay the same.
