Film and stage actor Justin Kirk was born in Salem, Oregon on May 28, 1969. He moved around the U.S. several times before settling in New York City to pursue an acting career. His first appearance on Broadway was in Any Given Day. His television projects include Chapter Zero and The Eden Myth, and Jack & Jill.

Andy Botwin is portrayed by Justin Kirk on Showtime's dark comedy series Weeds. Andy is Nancy Botwin 's brother-in-law, and because of his inability to support himself, he moves in with the family. He became enchanted with Nancy's cannabis dealing, and invited himself to a partnership.
