As reported earlier this month, FX has finally set the return date for Nip/Tuck, the award-winning drama that follows the lives of two plastic surgeons, Sean McNamara (Dylan Walsh) and Christian Troy (Julian McMahon).  There's a lot of guest stars to look forward to this season, including Sharon Gless, Portia de Rossi, AnnaLynne McCord, Bradley Cooper, John Schneider, Jennifer Coolidge, Morgan Fairchild and Katee Sackoff.  However, Entertainment Weekly's Michael Ausiello hints there's more.

As Nip/Tuck's fifth season continues, Sean tries to re-build his life after surviving a brutal attack from Colleen Rose, while McNamara/Troy faces an unexpected, serious medical crisis and Christian decides to settle down with one woman.  Furthermore, Sean discovers a new love in a moment of extreme vulnerability.  Along the way, they'll encounter some curious characters, including a couple that's considering taking the fixation with Barbie and Ken to a surgical conclusion.

Ausiello reports that the “Barbie and Ken” couple will be played by Jessica Collins and Mark Deklin respectively.  Though Collin is most known for her role as Meredith Davies on FOX's Tru Calling, she is also credited for Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman, Leprechaun 4: In Space, Two and a Half Men and Big Shots, just to name a few.

Deklin, on the other hand, has appeared on TV series such as The Ex-List, Justice, Desperate Housewives, Big Love, CSI: NY, Las Vegas, Sex and the City, Frasier, Charmed, Ed, and Shark.  On Broadway, he has been cast in the production of Cyrano de Bergerac, Sweet Smell of Success, and The Lion King.

Nip/Tuck is set to resume its fifth season beginning on Tuesday, January 6 at 10pm on FX. Subsequently, the second season of Damages is scheduled to kick off on Wednesday, January 7 at 10pm.
