The second week of The Bachelor is where the drama really kicks off because not only do the girls move into the mansion, some of them go on dates with Sean Lowe-- which pretty much puts the pressure on everyone. You can learn about all the juicy details of Sean's first batch of dates in our recap. Or you can also check out the highlights from Sean himself, as well as other notable personalities from The Bachelor franchise here.

Sean's Date with Sarah

Sarah got the first one-on-one date of the season and, not surprisingly, it was an adrenaline date (involving a helicopter ride and a 300 feet free-fall). According to host Chris Harrison, "Sean picked Sarah for the first extreme date of the season and that can mean good things. There's Bachelor history on her side. Very often, the girl that gets the extreme date goes very far with the Bachelor."

Season 6 Bachelorette Ali Fedotowsky seem to agree with Harrison that "the person who gets the 'scary' date usually goes far in the season" however, she just didn't see any sparks between them and isn't so sure that Sean will pick her in the end.

Sean's Awkward Group Date

The Harlequin photo shoot group date brought out tension and most of the women's claws. Kristy just became a threat to the other girls for winning the photo shoot challenge, Tierra started to rub the other girls the wrong way while Kacie surprisingly got a rose.

"The group date was drama as always. Definitely saw the sexual energy between Sean and Kristy but didn't really see anything beyond that," Ali wrote in her blog.

Sean, on the other hand, shared his sentiments about Tierra and Kacie. "I could tell that Tierra was visibly upset and I wanted to know why because she definitely won me over on the first night and I wanted her to be happy," he wrote in his blog. "She told me that she was here for me and didn't want to make friends with the other women. I didn't say this, but I was thinking, 'This is a long ride. I wouldn't isolate yourself too much because you might be living with these girls for the next ten weeks.' But her mind seemed to be put at ease and I was happy that she was happy because I really liked her."

Trista Sutter, the first ever Bachelorette, considered Tierra as one of the front-runners of the competition but was disappointed to see her admit that she's "not here to meet friends."

"I think I have to knock her down a notch. I get the mentality, but have never understood why participants can't embrace the entirety of the experience and bond with a few people you probably wouldn't have otherwise met," Trista said.

As for Kacie, she seemed to be making progress with Sean. But is she totally out of the friend zone?

"The woman who stood out more than anyone else that evening was Kacie," Sean said.  "When she stepped out of the limo on the first night, I wasn't sure I'd ever be able to view her as anything more than a friend. After talking to her that night at the Harlequin date though, I came to realize that we had real potential as a couple."

According to Chris Harrison, Kacie " did manage to make it out of the friend zone, but she's not out of the woods yet. Sean is still skeptical of this whole thing and she's got some work to do before she totally earns Sean's trust."

Katie's Bachelor Exit

Katie, who was on Sean's first group date, felt "excessively uncomfortable" being surrounded by so many over-the-top personalities  so she decided to quit the show. Many people saw it as a bold and courageous move, including Ali and Chris Harrison.

"Good for Katie for sending herself home on this group date. Honestly, she should probably be the Bachelorette next season. At least we know she wasn't sticking around for the wrong reasons. It's always important to follow your heart on this show, even if it leads you home," Ali said.

"Katie illustrated something that often happens on this show and I'm glad we showed you all of it. This journey isn't for everybody and it can get the best of you. I applaud Katie for realizing this early on and pulling herself out instead of sticking around taking a spot that another woman should have," Chris said.

Desiree the Fan Favorite

Desiree appeared to in the running for fan favorite this season especially after her one-on-one date with Sean, who pulled a prank her. But not only did she win fans, she also won the attention of Sean.

"I knew she'd be the perfect person for the prank I had planned," Sean said of Desiree. "The prank was hilarious and she was such a good sport about everything, but the best part of the date took place at my bachelor pad... She's witty, sarcastic, intelligent, loving, caring and our morals seemed to line up. And not to mention, she's so beautiful! This girl has it all. We ended the night with a very romantic dip in the hot tub and of course I gave Dez a rose. I left that date thinking that Dez might just be the one for me."

"Desiree is now back on my list of favorites," Trista added. "Their connection is so sweet and sincere."

Ali also gave Desiree a vote of confidence by predicting her fate as the next Bachelorette. "I'm pulling for Desiree. If Desiree isn't chosen by Sean in the end, I think there is a good chance she will be the next Bachelorette."

Would Desiree make a good Bachelorette? What did you think of Katie's exit? Do Tierra, Sarah, Kristy or Kacie have a shot at Sean? Share your thoughts in the comments below!
