The rumor mill is running once again this week with reports that George Clooney's girlfriend Stacy Keibler is in talks to join the upcoming season of The X Factor. Amidst ongoing rumors ranging from Janet Jackson to Avril Lavigne to Britney Spears, there are still four official spots to fill (two hosts and two judges) on the Simon Cowell singing competition. Keep reading to get the current update and chime in on who you think should join the show.

Reportedly in Talks: Stacy Keibler
According to the New York Post, the former actress/model/professional wrestler is said to be in discussion with the show for a spot as a host, due to her "lack of experience in the music business." Their source stated "she looks fantastic and has bags of charisma," which are some good qualities when it comes to hosting.

Cowell has said he wants two hosts this time around, one male and one female, and Glee star Darren Criss was said to be offered the male hosting position, as reported by E! Online. Criss apparently declined the offer due to his ridiculously busy schedule (in addition to Glee, he starred in the Broadway musical How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying and filmed Imogene with Kristen Wiig this year).

It was reported that The X Factor offered Britney $10 million to be a judge on the show, but that she rejected the offer and asked for $20 million instead. Other sources agree that "there have been talks." On Good Day New York last week, Cowell once again remained vague, saying "you'll have to wait and see. I can't confirm or deny anything right now. The truth is, we are talking to a number of people." But he did cop to two new names being tossed in the ring recently, one "very famous singer" and one "very famous actress," and that there will only be "one Brit allowed" as a host.

Others Confirmed Out:
Both Avril Lavigne and Janet Jackson have reportedly turned down judging gigs, while there's been no confirmation on the LeAnn Rimes rumors of a few weeks ago. Smashing Pumpkins frontman Billy Corgan supposedly said he'd "love" to be a judge on the show, despite his tirade against shows like X Factor and their impact on the music industry, as well as the fact that Cowell has said he's looking for two females to fill the judges' roles (sorry, Billy).

As a start date has not been announced yet, no one can be sure when these important decisions will be made, but with all this buzz, there better be some big names on board in the end. Who do you want to see host and judge the show? Express your opinion in the poll or in the comments below.
