In The Walking Dead mid-season premiere, the story focused on Carl, Rick and Michonne. In this Sunday's "Inmates," the story shifts to the other survivors. Who made it out alive? And have they found a safe place to sleep and food? Or, are they at risk from the dangers out in the wild?
Spoiler alert: This article contains The Walking Dead spoilers and clips. You've been warned.
The Walking Dead have shown several previews over the last week from "Inmates." After watching them all, the clips provide a good understanding of how the prison group was separated and who's still alive.
Lizzie and her sister are seen walking down train tracks together. In another shot, Lizzie's with Tyreese being frightened by some birds that fly out of bushes.
There's also a quick shot of Daryl on the train tracks, but based on the clip below he's probably on a different part of the tracks or following their trail.
Glenn's surrounded by walkers, then in the dark with a lantern and later with Tara. He's not sure if Maggie made it out alive or not.
Maggie's shown in trouble on the bus, then walking through bodies, but later near water with Sasha and Bob.
In the aftermath of the prison attack, who would you expect to fall apart? Beth or Daryl? The answer may surprise you. Check out a sneak peek from "Inmates."
Beth and Daryl escaped together after the attack and the clip shows them around a fire. They've found a place to stop that appears safe. Beth's riled up, while Daryl just sits and sulks.
Beth says, "We should do something. We're not the only survivors. We can't be."
Beth's convinced that others survived and she wants Daryl to track them. When he's unresponsive, Beth decides to go out and track them herself. Will that pull Daryl out of his funk? Or, will he let Beth go out in the dark on her own?
Based on the other previews, it appears that Daryl gets off his butt and starts tracking the others. Will Beth and Daryl find anyone else?
The Walking Dead airs on Sundays at 9 pm ET on AMC.
