Brace yourselves, folks. This is The Voice and this is going to be one jaw-dropping episode as host Carson Daly announces the latest results. After a night of stellar performances, things are only heating up as we continue to see breakout moments from promising artists. Not only will America see which of their favorite contestants will be moving forward in the competition, but we will also find out which four contestants will be cut and sent packing. That's right. Half of the competition will be eliminated. Ready? Here goes nothing!

So the process will go as follows. Three artists will be announced as safe and two will be sent home, leaving the final three to sing for their lives in the Instant Save round. Two more will go home and the last one standing will join the initial three to round out your Top 4. Get it? Got it? Good! Let's get on with it!

The First Result

Coaches Adam Levine, Miley Cyrus, Jennifer Hudson and Blake Shelton make their way to the red chairs as Carson welcomes viewers and mentions that it will also be a "great night of music," including Machine Gun Kelly, X Ambassadors, Bebe Rexha and the show's own "J-Hud," who will perform her new single.

As the Top 8 come to the stage, Carson says that every artist reached a spot in the Top 25 on the iTunes charts. As previously stated, things are only heating up from here. We're seeing the top of the top now and losing anyone will be shocking, but only one person can be crowned at the end of this thing.

The first artist to grab a spot in the finals is ... Chloe Kohanski of Team Blake!

Machine Gun Kelly, X Ambassadors and Bebe Rexha ("Home")

I always find collaborations between unexpected artists that much more interesting. This has to be a reason why the song has been such a hit on the charts. While I'm a fan of the song and the performers, I'm ready to see these results. Good job, guys. Now let's move it along.

The next artist safe and moving on to the finals is ... Addison Agen of Team Adam!

Jennifer Hudson ("Burden Down")

If you have read anything at all about Jennifer's recent personal life, one can only imagine the true feelings being put into this performance. Of course, you think about this after the fact that she isn't actually playing the piano. Standing up to sing a capella and barefoot, it's made very obvious as to why she was made a coach. She knows how to captivate an audience and sound superb while doing so. An incredible performance!

The third finalist safe from elimination is ... Brooke Simpson of Team Miley! (This is Miley's first ever artist in the finals!)

The Voice: Neon Dreams Cast

With a preview of the Las Vegas residency at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino, previous Voice contestants put on quite the powerful performance. The cast consists of Alison Porter, Chris Mann, Mary Sarah, Matthew Schuler, Matt McAndrew and Michael Sanchez, showing just a small bit of what looks to be an amazing show.

The first artist to perform for a spot in the finals is ... Adam Cunningham of Team Adam. Joining him in the Instant Save performances is ... Noah Mac of Team Jennifer. The last artist to perform for their life is ... Red Marlow of Team Blake.

This means that Keisha Renee of Team Blake and Davon Fleming of Team Jennifer have been eliminated from the competition. Not at all my predictions. I don't see how Adam C. continues to find his way out of the fire. What do you think?

Instant Saves

Red Marlow ("Dixeland Delight") -- Team Blake

Even in the face of desperation, that charming smile brightens up the mood. I wouldn't say it's his best performance, but it might do the trick. His personality radiating on screen definitely plays a part in grabbing America's hearts.

Adam Cunningham ("Here's a Quarter, Call Someone Who Cares") -- Team Adam

The song title is enough to hook me. Whether he stays or not, this should leave a mark on the Voice stage. Does anyone find it interesting that two of the Instant Save performances are from country artists?

Noah Mac ("Sign of the Times") -- Team Jennifer

It's interesting to hear this song in a lower register. I don't know that the beginning is very ... good. It's off-pitch in places, but everyone else seems to be enjoying it. Coach Jennifer is on her feet, jumping around with excitement. I don't know. I'm not super moved by any of these performances. Are you?

Here is the big moment! Carson tells viewers to tweet away!

Voting has closed and Carson announces the last person added to the Top 4. The fourth finalist is ... Red Marlow of Team Blake.

Going Home is ... Noah Mac, Adam Cunningham, Keisha Renee and Davon Fleming

So there you have it. Your Top 4 are Red Marlow, Brook Simpson, Addison Agen and Chloe Kohanski. I told you we would be in for some jaw-dropping moments. I didn't expect to see Davon leave the competition.
